Welcome to High Entertainment, an Arizona-based entertainment company in Laveen. The company writes, produces and distributes movies, films and other creative endeavors. Our mission is to give audiences award-winning, blockbuster entertainment projects.
CEO Rod High got hooked on film as a child, watching Godzilla and King Kong in the early 1970s. His love of the horror genre developed after he saw the terrifying trailer of the 1976 American horror film, “The Town That Dreaded Sundown.” The trailer scared him so badly as a child that he was immediately enamored with horror movies.
Multiple scripts currently are in development at High Entertainment, ranging in scope from the supernatural to the legendary. Mr. High’s work pays homage to the creative minds who have gone before him in terrorizing audiences with suspense, supernatural disturbances, and nocturnal prowlers.
His ultimate goal with High Entertainment is to take the fear a notch higher and to collaborate with other like-minded actors and producers to make great films.

THE KIAMICHI PROJECT
A former Green Beret with a personal interest in a legendary creature, Scout Rourke agrees to lead a team in the capture of a war machine that has been leaving a trail of bodies in its wake. Years before, Scout’s sister was brutally murdered, and she is convinced it’s the same killer. Leading the mercenary team in the hunt for the creature gives Scout the perfect opportunity for the vengeance she vowed after her sister’s death.
Scout’s military toughness combined with her doctorate in cryptozoology – the study of and search for animals that fall outside of contemporary zoological categories – means she has both the brawn and the brains to get the job done and exact revenge!
But, it turns out that the war machine is actually a Killer Sasquatch under the control of a U.S. special weapons program. The hunters quickly become the hunted in this epic military twist on the Big Foot myth.
Police Lieutenant Acadia Hobert enforces the law by day, but at nighttime in New Orleans only alcohol takes the edge from the dark childhood memories that haunt her.
When a notorious serial killer with supernatural powers escapes from prison, Acadia is on the case, a bottle of booze nearby to lend courage or numbness, whatever she might need. Steeped in Voodoo mysticism and superstition, Carnivale follows the intricate dance of danger between Acadia’s mission to save the Mardi Gras season for a Katrina-ravaged New Orleans and her dogged pursuit of the elusive Baron.
Lust and revenge spur on the current killing spree committed by the Baron and his cohorts, while Acadia vows to stop them, regardless of the cost to herself.
From eerie graveyards to dive bars, Acadia chases the Baron with a final showdown that will leave audiences gasping.
