Lions Club International is a non-profit service organization that focuses on these global causes: diabetes, vision, hunger, environment, childhood cancer and youth.

In Laveen, our local club sponsors and organizes the annual Laveen Community Parade each February. Other projects include penny drives, collecting eye glasses for distribution, high school scholarship programs, and ann annual Heritage Car Show.

The group of volunteers meets at 5 p.m. on the first and third Wednesdays of every month.
